Come and enjoy a range of festive events and activities this December at the Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery.
Kids can get crafty and make Christmas fairies, Roman lamps and multi-coloured star ornaments, and there will be a chance for shoppers to sample honey mead and other locally made produce in the Roman Baths Shop as part of Museum Shop Sunday.
Look out for the Christmas tree in the Victoria Art Gallery foyer, organised each year by the Friends of the Gallery. This year the tree will celebrate the Gallery’s wonderful exhibition programme with the Trustees of the Friends creating colourful, recycled decorations using surplus promotional material and postcards.
Councillor Dine Romero, Leader of Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “December is a great time to visit our museums, whether you are taking part in festive family activities, searching for original gifts in the museum shops, or simply exploring the fantastic exhibitions and displays. If you are a local resident, you can visit our museums and enjoy regular family activities for free with a Discovery Card.”
